Ngelale stated that the dismissal of Irukera is part of an initiative to restructure and realign vital federal government agencies to safeguard the rights of Nigerian consumers.

He emphasized that the removal aligns with the strategy to establish a robust foundation for increased contributions to the nation’s economy by pivotal growth-oriented institutions.

The president directed Irukera to transfer responsibilities to the next most senior officer in his agency until the appointment of new Chief Executive Officers.
