Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the People`s Democratic Party (PDP) has said that President-elect Bola Tinubu is unfit to rule Nigeria
Atiku said this to the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Thursday.
He said Tinubu has dual citizenship of Nigeria and the Republic of Guinea which he acquired voluntarily.
Atiku`s Arguments
in a fresh application, he alleged that Tinubu did not disclose facts of his constitutional qualifications in his Form EC9 which he submitted to INEC.
He noted that Tinubu was unfit to lead Nigeria having been indicted for drug-related offences in the United States of which he was made to forfeit the sum of $460,000 dollars as a compromise agreement.
He maintained that Tinubu was constitutionally disabled from contesting for the office of president.

While reacting to Tinubu’s response where he described Atiku as a serial election loser, Atiku said Tinubu was a giant in forfeiture, drug-related offences, and failure to disclose dual nationality to INEC.
He said “The comparison of the second respondent (Tinubu) with the first petitioner (Atiku) who had attained the eminent position of Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for eight years is totally unfounded”,
He also alleged that Tinubu and APC did not win a majority of the lawful votes cast in the Feb. 25 presidential election.
He said Tinubu failed part of the constitutional requirements having failed to secure 25% of the votes cast in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, as constitutionally required.
