On August 1, 2023, the tribunal reserved judgement on the petitions filed by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

The Court reserved the judgement after the parties involved presented their final written arguments.

At the heart of these petitions lies a challenge to the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 election, making it a pivotal issue in the political landscape.

The tribunal intends to announce its judgement on the same day in multiple petitions filed by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

This strategic move aims to provide a unified judgement on all cases simultaneously.
