The Presidential election petition tribunal has struck out 10 statements out of the 13 witnesses presented by Labour party’s on Peter Obi.
Recall Obi had tendered several documentary pieces of evidence and called a total of 13 witnesses to testify before the tribunal.
However, delivering judgement on Wednesday the appellate court dismissed 10 out of the 13 witnesses.

The court held that it cannot countenance the evidence provided by those witnesses who were subpoenaed privately and not through their organisation.
Consequently, the court expelled the records of those 10 witnesses from its record.
