The Nigerian Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
A seven member panel led by Justice Okoro dismissed the appeal on Thursday for lacking merit.
The apex court upheld the victory of president Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
The panel held that most of the issues raised in Peter Obi’s appeal was similar to that of Atiku Abubakar that was dismissed earlier.

The panel further said the only different issue raised was that of Shetima’s double nomination which has already been resolved.
