The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.
Recall the Nasarawa state petition election tribunal had annulled the election that produced Mr Sule based on evidence presented to the court.
The tribunal held that based on evidence from the various polling units, David Ombugadu had polled the majority of valid votes.
However, in its judgemnt on Thursday, the Appellate court removed the evidence and exhibits from PW5, 6,7,8,12,13,20, and 21 used by the tribunal.
The appellate court also upheld governor Sule’s election as declared by INEC.
