Supreme Court reserves judgment on Adebutu’s appeals

On Thursday, the Supreme Court reserved judgment pending for the appeal presented by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Ladi Adebutu, in the March 18 governorship election.

The five-member panel, led by Justice John Okoro, refused to entertain the cross-appeals from the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission.

They insisted on abiding by the outcome of the main appeal filed by Adebutu, which seeks to annul the declaration of Dapo Abiodun’s election victory.
